“We are here to thank you for all the sincere support and respect you have been giving to His Excellency Prof Arthur Peter Mutharika and his administration, this part of Malawi is among the most important regions that we all truly cherish.” Mulli spoke to the thousands of attendees.

A senior T/A speaks as Ngwira and other officials listens carefully.

He went further to encourage all party leaders to remain steadfast and unshaken by the violent attacks they have been enduring, perpetrated by opposition supporters.

“We have learnt with utmost sadness and grief, that many of you, have lost properties, dear ones, businesses and you are living in fear for expressing your democratic and constitutional right of association,Malawi is for everyone and let no man intimidate another for having a different political view,we will not allow our supporters to live in fear, politics of intimidation will not be allowed” Mulli lamented.

Malawi Government has intensified it’s security services in the region to protect all well informed citizens.A while back we witnissed ill informed opposition leaders and supporters terrorizing DPP/UDF supporters in hope of frustrating their efforts and support to the ‘obvious’ winning team.
