We are all working hard to support the Healthacare Department . We have a lot of information in circulation for Covid 19 regarding the Virus that does not spread on it’s own but rather is been carried by person to person.

The Virus is does not work as a magic wand;it is important to put all infected persons under quarantine.

But we are failling to keep them in isolation and we have had several incidents in the past:positive cases roaming freely in public places:hence we are appealing for a full Lockdown.

Even if we have all healthcare system set up or medical facilities avaible ,we can not cure the virus because it does not have any known and workable vaccine which can cure 100% covid 19 so here so we must know that we must stop spreading the virus and stay at Home to be safe .

Despite of massive Health Centre , Hospitals & Healthcare Department Community Service in USA , Italy , Spain , France but they’re failing to control the spread of Covid-19 and more patients are dying in thousands upon thousands then how can Malawi:a country with the worse poor healthcare be able to contain and sustain against such situation or challenge without Voluntary Lockdown.

People are dying all over the world and the best way to break the Chain of Infection is by staying indoors and maintaining Social distancing but we see a little here, despite we are limited with resources but let us be wise to try and resolve the matter of Voluntarily Lockdow.

Lockdown can be accepted to save more casualties and it will receive numerous support from local community for Emergency Services such as Food , Medicals & others.

Amount of money been spent on healthcare is very good initiative but if some planning can be done on Lockdown and spend money on this direction will be very advisable. I am a simple citizen of Malawi & these are my views.

If we can manage to understand to allow Lockdown that will help us to find a quicker remedy otherwise it will be on going numbers 13, 16, 20,40, onwards.

This is my humble request from all of you able and capable people to follow these drastic measures against Covid19.

A text from a very famous Professor Alex Broadbent of South Africa reads;

“This is not my idea, but an idea suggested by the leaders of a village in a rural part of Africa. And this shows us the best idea of all — ask people to solve the problem for themselves. People who live in a community know their way of life.”

I rest.
