USI SPEAKS HIS POSITION ON POSSIBLE ALLIANCES
The United Transformation Movement (UTM) Vice President, Dr Michael Usi has made his position clear in case of a possible political alliance
The party might join electoral alliances
with other party(s).
Usi said, his president Saulos Klauz Chiloma is at liberty to choose anyone as running mate in case of a possible alliance.
“I cannot be a vice president and if I object to that, it should be a sin before God because my major area of focus is to serve Malawiand and not becoming the vice president”.
Usi’s assertion is a clear testimony that the UTM is planning to go into an electoral alliance with other parties.
And also in his speech during the press briefing on Wednesday morning, the UTM President, Saulos Chilima hinted that his party is likely to go into electoral relationship with other suitable party(s).
