The Muslim World League embarks on distribution of relief items countrywide:4,000 food packs given to less privileged families.

Muslim World League once again continued their great work to needy Malawians
during the Holy month of Ramadaan, the Muslim month of fasting.

A total of 4000 food packs are being distributed to the needy across Malawi
in Nkhotakhota, Salima, Mangochi, Blantyre and Chikwawa under the Muslim
World League Food Basket Project 2020.

This distribution follows the recent donation of 300 tons of maize flour
towards COVID-19 response which Muslim World League made to Malawians two
weeks ago.

Muslim World League is an International NGO that provides humanitarian
relief and development programmes serving communities in need regardless of

religion, race, gender or beliefs. For the past 20 years MWL Southern Region
Africa Office have sponsored numerous projects not just in Malawi but regionally.

These include Disaster and Emergency Relief, Poverty Alleviation, boreholes, education and schooling and also cataract eye
surgeries.
