PHISO FINALLY BREAKS THE DEADLOCK ON BULLETS AND WANDERERS STADIA

Government has assured Nyasa Big Bullets and Be Forward Wanderers that the construction work of their stadiums will commence in the next two weeks.

The remarks was made on Friday night by the Minister of Sports Youth and Culture, Honourable Francis Phiso during the 2019 TNM Super league Gala Awards held in Blantyre.

Phiso said the Ministry is so much aware the challenges these two teams are facing hence the speed-up of the construction process of the two stadiums.

President Peter Mutharika pledged to construct stadia for the two age-old archrivals in January this year during a whistle stop tour in Blantyre.

Blantyre City Council and Malawi National Council of Sports were tasked for the identification of the land.

Moneymen site was identified for the construction of Bullets whereas Soche-Manje is the site for Wanderers stadium.
