NANKHUMWA IS RIPE FOR A HIGHER OFFICE

Kelvin Sulugwe asked what other qualities does Honorable Minister Kondwani Nankhumwa has apart from the virtue that he is a bonafide Lhomwe?
Well, I have a few observations though am not in a position to speak on his behalf or the party he represents. This is what I have noted about him:
1) He is LOYAL; he is among the few senior party officials who stood tall with Apm and DPP, when they lost their founder Bingu, when many jumped ship to People’s Party and he started his political path in DPP from a mere reporter to the position of MP for Mulanje Central constituency thereafter to a Minister in different portfolios and other National Executive Positions.
2) Leadership qualities and strength; Hon Nankhumwa has been the leader of govt in parly for great number of years and during his tenure 3/4 of govt bills have been passed and approved by parliament that means he was able to convince independent and opposition mps including MCP president Chakwera. That’s not a mean achievement.
-Hon Nankhumwa is among the few DPP leaders who preaches messages of peace, love and reconciliation, he once asked the president of Malawi at a public rally to humble himself before God and realize peace is the key to resolve the political impasse in our midst.
-Hon Nankhumwa single handedly asked Chilima and Chakwera for coffee to discuss the misunderstandings and confusion which were mongering after the announcement of 21st May Presidential election results in our country inorder to find mutual respect and understanding for the betterment of the country to move forward.
-Hon Nankhumwa has never for once insulted any opposition leader or officials or hit back at anyone suspected to have done any propaganda against him. He is a peacemaker and kingmaker.
-Hon Nankhumwa is a well informed youthful leader and greatly loved and respected almost by all the youths in the country regardless their political affiliations, he has the charisma that makes all to stop whatever they were doing to pay attention to his utterances. He has made the southern region a formidable ground for DPP.
He is among the few DPP leaders who can be ably organize a rally in all four regions and the turn out can or may be greatly patronized.
-Hon Nankhumwa has served in different ministerial positions and all of them have been successful stories. There are no corruption scandals upon his head. He is a clean chap, committed and determined to serve the nation amicably and perfectly.
-Hon Nankhumwa not once or twice, the president of Malawi has being leaving the country in his hands to run the affairs of state, while he was away on international duty. The president knows his men and women well out of them, Hon Nankhumwa stood out on numerous occasions.That speaks the length of his leadership quality.
-Hon Nankhumwa not only is he undefeated Mp and minister for more than 10 years, he is also the southern region vice president of DPP. We can all agree, he campaigned vigorously and wisely to defend the territory and managed to scoop 3/4 of parliamentary seats and councilor seats. He is the political giant in the south not only through words but COUPLED with undismissable actions.
-When H.E opted for Chimulirenji as his running mate many thought he will be frustrated and disgruntled by forsaking his duties but to the shock of many, he stood tall and fought for the party and promoted the torchbearers to the ends of the country.
DPP won the elections .
That’s Hon Nankhumwa for you.
So if you ask me,why should people regard Hon Nankhumwa as among the best and available leaders who have the potential to run the country? I would say.
Hon Nankhumwa fits the cap.
He is loyal, calm, calculative, unselfish, determined and patriotic enough. He sees no gender, age, tribal lines nor party affiliations.
He is here serving the nation and that includes all Malawians from different walks of life.
Hon Nankhumwa is the man!

I think everything posted made a lot of sense. However, consider this, suppose you wrote a catchier post title?
