A group of Asian businessmen in Mzuzu has risen to compliment government’s efforts by running campaigns of awareness and sensitizing communities and also to render a helping hand to public institutions and surrounding communities by donating protective and preventative materials such as:

Hand sanitizers, gloves, face masks, water dispenser buckets, soap and many other.

They have covered so far: hospitals, churches, mosques, police station, PMF, city council, MDF and immigration.

Our Mzuzu based reporter spoke to two members of the organization,he was very excited to inform us why they have embarked on such benovelant journey;”we feel it is our corporate responsibility to take care of our fellow residents in our city as we share the same interests of protecting lives and progress of our nation.” Fahad Rashid explained.

Another jovial member added;”if the people of Mzuzu are protected and safe then we can fight covid 19, this disease does not chose who to attack, that’s why we have tried to help a wide range of places and people from all backgrounds to combat it.” Aamir Gabriel said.

This is great news and a commendable gesture.

Let us all get involved and help one another to overcome Covid19.
