His Excellency Prof Arthur Peter Mutharika has sworn in his 32 member cabinet which comprises of members from United Democratic Front and the Former Peoples Party vice president, Hon Kamlepo Kalua.

The swearing in ceremony took place at Sanjika Palace in Blantyre on Saturday morning.

Mutharika has sworn in the cabinet amidst fears emanating from COVID-19 pandemic which is now a global concern that has forced even Malawi government to consider closing all education institutions and ban public gatherings.

The event was a private gathering and assumingly,if we are to calculate the escorts of each minister, that sums it up to 40 people plus the ministers that’s 72. Then there was the President,State House staff and other government officials, arguably more than 100 people were in attendance.

On a related development.

The governing Democratic Progressive Party had a public rally at Namitete Primary School in Blantyre today and the gathering had more than 100 people.

What is strange is that;both on these events, prevention measures in the fight against Covid19 were not followed.Below are some of them.

1) Social Distance was ignored

2)Same bible and Quran were used continuously by different people.

3) No gloves,No masks

4)Handshakes were encouraged and practiced.

Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is fundamental and all. However think about if
you added some great graphics or video clips to
give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and clips, this site
could definitely be one of the very best in its field.
    Terrific blog!

Does operating a well-established website like yours require a massive amount work?
I am brand new to running a blog but I do write in my diary every day.

I’d like to start a blog so I can easily share my own experience and thoughts online.
Please let me know if you have any ideas or tips for new aspiring blog
    owners. Thankyou!
