Controversial Malawi national team and Silver Strikers prolific center forward, Khuda “Ikennah” Muyaba has successfully completed his trials and offered a contract at ABSA Premier Soccer League outfit, Polokwane City Football Club.
Confirming the development on his social media page, one of his local agents who oiled the deal for the 2019 TNM Super League top goal scorer to join the capital city giants (Silver Strikers), Joshua Chinguwo called on all the soccer enthusiasts to join him in celebrating the beginning of a new lease of life across the Zambezi for Muyaba.
“Fada has made it, he has now joined Polokwane City, so please join me in congratulating him as his wish to play professional football abroad has been realized, many people thought the deal will not materialized but the guy worked so hard at that highly competitive South African Premier League soccer team,” he said.
Muyaba becomes the second Malawian football export to join Polokwane City this season after Mighty Beforward Wanderers Football Club defender, Denis Chembezi also joined the club in a deal believed to be in the region of Mk25 million.
One of the country’s most celebrated footballers, Esau Kanyenda is the one who orchestrated a move for Muyaba to go for trials at Polokwane City in the rainbow nation.
In related development, Civil Sporting club striker, Muhammad Sulumba has returned into the country after he failed to make the grade at Nam Dinh FC of Vietnam
Speaking when arriving into the country, Sulumba said he believes Allah (GOD) is going to answer him when time is right and he cannot rush to do what is not supposed to be his.
Popularly known as ‘Rise and Shine’ among its followers, Polokwane City FC first time to appear in the PSL South Africa was during the 2013/14 soccer season.
