We earlier reported the incident that happened few hours ago in Gulliver,Area 49(pa tower) in Lilongwe.
How a Pakistan national was abducted and later rescued by a neighbor who alerted the community police in the area.We went further to inform you that, during the police raid in the house they found numerous passports(Malawi and Pakistan) Computer with a printing machine and other sensitive and confidential government documents.
Our source within the syndicate has further confided in this publication and he narrated,”This is how it works,we have an office in Pakistan, which acts as a travel agency company, our services are to process Visa,Permits and Citizenship to those longing to live in Malawi at a fee,our prices ranges from $5,000-$10,000.
Most of them have no passport or travel documents but we are cleverly connected at all borders,in which we give $300-$500 to Immigration officers to allow our cargo(illegal immigrants) to enter the country without any difficulty.”
He went further to say, “we have special buses that we use on these missions and the drivers are well taken care of,financially.
They hide them in the toilets and cover them with excessive luggage.”
Back to the story at hand.
The raided house was keeping more than 30 illegal immigrants and when they heard the police are on their way-they all fled.
Fortunately,our source captured few pictures.
What is weird and unbelievable is how they knew the police were coming;this means they have some unscrupulous police officers in their palms.
Therefore,we are appealing to Inspector General of Police,Minister of Foreign Affairs and International cooperation,Minister of Homeland Security and Minister of Industry and Trade.
We have numerous Pakistan owned shops countrywide and it is believed most of the workers/owners of the shops are not documented and they’re indulging in illicit activities, which our country laws prohibits.
Not only is a case of National Security but it may affect our future relations with our neighboring countries which these people are travelling to using Malawi Passport.
