Malawi Broadcast Corporation is the first and oldest leading national broadcaster in the country.
Their Director General Aubrey Sumbuleta who has overwhelmingly transformed the institution since he took over,he steadfastly continues to lead by example by adhering to directives and considerations made by the president of Malawi,His Excellency Prof Arthur Peter Mutharika during this national disaster.
The president few weeks back urged all heads of departments in public and private institutions to be empathetic to their employees by putting appropriate measures to cushion them during this economic crisis caused by Coronavirus Pandemic worldwide.
Sumbuleta has keenly followed the instructions. All MBC employees countrywide have been paid in full before the 17th April in order for them to prepare and plan effectively before the lockdown.
