Soche east ward councillor Leonard Chimbanga has come to his sense and humbly wrote an apologetic message on his Facebook page and it reads.

After reflecting of events of the past days I would like to acknowledge the audios going around with profound regret as it has caused injury to certain individuals . Am very sorry for my actions. I accept responsibility for my actions.I would like to assure the DPP party leaders of my loyalty to the party. To my chewa tribe am very sorry for my utterances I hope you will find it within your hearts to forgive me. To the MCP I would like to retract my sentiments with deep regret. This was private conversation with a supposedly friend which are now in the public domain. It has taught me valuable lessons.
