Chakwera to lead Malawians in peaceful demonstrations.

Malawi Congress Party is calling on all peace loving Malawians to take part in the peaceful demonstrations that are aimed at forcing President,Prof Arthur Peter Mutharika to ascend to the electoral bills.

In a press release dated 10th March 2020 the MCP said Mutharika is in breach of the contract he had with Malawians by deliberately playing hide and seek with Pertinent issues which governs smooth delivery of a credible election.

The release further outlined that Mutharika and the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) have no mandate to continue governing the country since the citizenry has completely lost trust in them.

The communique which has also been acknowledged to the attention of the chief executive officers for all the city and town councils cited the constitutional provision section 38 and section 98 of the police act which provides freedom to demonstrate.

The Prolific Leader of MCP,Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera will lead their members and citizens of good will to protest against the Mutharika’s Administration on 12th March 2020.
