Chakwera leads the exemplary Covid19 precautions and donates medical supplies to hospitals and health centers in Lilongwe
The incumbent president of Malawi Congress Party,Dr Lazarus Mccathy Chakwera has embarked on awareness campaign of Coronavirus pandemic in the country.
Him and his team were all geared up:Gloves and Face Masks were clearly seen and witnessed though social distancing was not respected.
Actually:he is the first political party president to initiate such a benovelant gesture and get physically involved in it’s implemention.
He intends to tour all hospitals and health centers countrywide to appreciate the preparations put in place by the medical personnel and also to donate medical supplies and necessities.
Earlier today:he visited St Gabriel Hospital and Malembo Health Centre where he equipped them with several preventative items such as:Hand Sanitizers,Gloves,Face Masks,Water Dispenser Buckets and Protective Gear.
Chakwera informed the mammoth crowd that gathered to welcome him ” This is the time to out aside our political indeferrences and adopt a patriotic approach to the current problem of Coronavirus,all of in love,unity and collectively let’s put people’s lives and safety first and let not politics divide us.”
Chakwera comes from the central region:the home of Mcp but he is respected,adored countrywide and it is further believed he might be the next president of Malawi.
