50 DEMONSTRATERS ARRESTED FOR BEING FOUNDED WITH DANGEROUS WEAPONS

As Thousands of Malawi are on the street today police and Malawi Defence Force (MDF) has Join hands to net every one being found with any weapon.
Speaking in condition of annomity Certain Police officer discloses to current Affairs that about 50 demonstrates have been arrested for being found with dangerous weapons like Catapult (Legeni).
“We noticed that many people always carried weapons and hide them in their bags,cars that why we have jointly mounted check in in some places like Kanengo, Bunda,Dowa,Nathenje just to mention a few places,” lamented the source.
However Central region police spokes person Kingsily Dandaula ask for some time.
“I’m not aware about such development give me time but what I know is that our officers are on the ground doing their job,” Said Dandaula.
