UTM and MCP promises to show NYEKHWE on 19th May 2020

The United Transfornation Movement (UTM) and the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) have finally reach the conclusive part of the alliance discussions.

In a press release signed by the party’s secretary general Patricia Kaliati and the publicity secretary, Dr Chidanti Malunga says the conclusive part of the agreement now remains with the party president,Dr Saulos Klaus Chilima.

UTM as a party is expecting their president to sign a pact with MCP which will see the parties forming a formidable electoral alliance.

The release further confirmed that the signing ceremony confirming the formation of the Coalition will be done at Bingu Convention Center on 19th March 2020.

Among other thing,the UTM says it understands the need for the formation of alliance which is aimed at forming government which will address the needs of many Malawians.
